A Legend in The Making
Each Others Legend began in 1993 when Wild Billy Kneebone and Joseph Langham met and promptly recorded six songs, which were delivered to producer extraordinaire T Bone Burnett. Within a few weeks Burnett called with a warm recognition, offered his personal affirmations and asked what he might do to help. After a few contacts were made, including with Interscope and Nunsuch Records, the group began a positive trajectory.
In 1996, Each Others Legend released the album, “Genius and the Bright Sins of Destiny.” Three years later, the band expanded to include Pete Sears, the legendary instrumentalist on Rod Stewart’s “Every Picture Tells a Story.” Sears put his production talents behind the band’s 2001 album “Let the World Go Free.”
Suns of Glory, a trio formed by Langham in 2011, became the live delivery unit for his songs for a short time. This led to sharing the stage with legend Leon Russell. A house recording filtered into circulation and a few of those songs are on the track list for “Just One Touch,” the band’s latest release.
Langham and Sears brought on Steve Kimock, Shana Morrison and Peter Rowan to contribute to their 2006 Anthology, a 36-song double CD. This powerful collection of talent has continued to collaborate for the last decade.
Bassist Roger Smith recently teamed up with the band to tour and fill the role on their new record “Just One Touch,” which was released in January 2018. Mike Bordeman also recently joined the group as a drummer and recorded the new album at his studio in Cortez, Colorado. Sessions began Jan. 2, 2017 and finished only moments ago.
A seventh album is currently underway and rumored before autumn 2018.
